Alex Jones: Accident involving train carrying GOP lawmakers was a “kamikaze” attack on Republicans

Jones: “This country is in a civil war”

From the January 31 edition of Genesis Communications Network’s The Alex Jones Show:

ALEX JONES (HOST): This is breaking: Paul Ryan was onboard the train carrying lawmakers, a whole bunch of lawmakers, to a high-level GOP retreat. A truck kamikaze rammed it, a cement truck, a big truck, a dump truck kamikaze rammed it. And Paul Ryan was on board. There’s one dead. A bunch of people injured. But what’s the odds of this? No, this is a message, you better believe it. And they’re going to spin it and try to, “Oh, it’s no big deal, everything’s fine.” “Oh, Vegas isn’t Islamic.” Of course it’s come out it has. “Oh, there’s not multiple shooters.” This is a serious message, very serious message that we can get you anywhere you are. You go to your baseball practice, we’re going to shoot you. We’re going to come after your family.
Rammed the front of the train, killing the driver and derailing part of the train. I mean, this is amazing. So this country is in a civil war. You can believe this was on purpose. I mean, I’d say 98 percent chance. This is unbelievable.
You had two miles away in Washington Antifa meeting with videos and police raids saying they were going to derail trains at that exact place and derailing a train a month before, but nobody -- it wasn’t a passenger train. And then they go, “Oh, the driver admits that he missed the speed limit and just went ahead and went too fast around there.” Yeah, whatever. I mean, this is getting ridiculous.

COMMENTS:

Sorry, moron, it was garbage truck, not a cement truck......and the train was not derailed... and the train hit the truck, it was not "Rammed" by the truck.....and the driver was not killed, he was seen climbing out of the cab - one of the other crew members was killed, another critically wounded.....there are actual photos of the scene.
Not that we didn't anticipate this delusion from him, but............
it happened outside of Charlottesville, Alex, you couldn't make the connection?
Maybe Alex should get the facts straight before he airs his next delusional conspiracy theory.
"No, this is a message, you better believe it. Well, moron, if it was a message, none of the Congressional Cons on the train seem to have gotten it, because every one of them that talked to the actual media were more concerned for the truck crew than for their own safety.
Does Alex know that those of us that deal in reality have other sources of information, and those that are so criminally confused to believe him might just start that war?
Shouldn't the authorities be concerned about his incitement to violence?

The Tea Party will believe him and he is one of the source that Trump consider as being factual.

Drivers say safety arms at crash site seemed to malfunction
By HEIDI BROWN, Associated Press
3 hours, 14 minutes ago

CROZET, Va. (AP) — The safety arms at a railroad crossing where a train carrying Republican lawmakers slammed into a garbage truck appeared to be malfunctioning the day before the deadly crash, drivers who regularly cross over the tracks at the crash scene said Thursday.
Gene Locke, who lives near the tracks in Crozet, said he pulled up to the crossing between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Tuesday and saw that the safety arms were down and the signal light was flashing, but there was no train approaching from either direction. After waiting a minute or so, he backed up, turned around and took a different route, assuming there was either a malfunction of the signal crossing or workers were testing it.
"I did not report this, as it was the first time this has happened in my observation since I have been using that crossing for several years," Locke told The Associated Press.
Jane Rogers, who lives about 2 miles (3 kilometers) from the crash site, said that when she arrived at the crossing Tuesday, the gate was down, even though there were no trains approaching. She said after waiting, one car in front of her and two cars behind her turned around. Then, as she started to turn around, the gate went up. One car then crossed the tracks, but Rogers said she waited another 30 seconds, then the gate went down again. No trains passed, she said.
"It was a weird up-and-down thing," she said. "Then the next day, the accident happened at that intersection."
The crash happened at an intersection that crosses the tracks at the top of a hill where visibility is limited.
Rogers said she reported the trouble to the police after she heard about the fatal crash. She said she would have called about the malfunctioning arm on Tuesday, "but who do you call? No one knows."
The lawmakers were on their way to a strategy retreat in West Virginia when the collision occurred around 11:20 a.m. Wednesday in Crozet, about 125 miles (200 kilometers) southwest of Washington.
An employee of the trash company, Time Disposal, was killed. The company identified him as Christopher Foley, 28, and said he was the father of a 1-year-old boy. Six others were injured. One remained in critical condition Thursday. One other person remained hospitalized in fair condition. Four people were released.
Benny Layne, on whose property the truck landed, said the crossing arms had been known to malfunction, sometimes coming down even though no train was approaching. Sometimes, he said, they stayed down for hours.
"A guy was up here just yesterday or the day before taking a look at them," he said Wednesday.
Carrie Brown, human resources manager at Buckingham Branch Railroad, which leases the stretch of track and is responsible for maintenance, said she was unaware of any problems with equipment at the crossing. At a Wednesday night news conference, the National Transportation Safety Board said signal experts would be looking at the safety of the crossing.
