Make absolutely no mistake about it: the appointment of John Bolton to serve as National Security Advisor and Mike Pompeo’s nomination to serve as Secretary of State represent the neoconservative foreign policy Donald Trump said he was against. These appointments show there’s not one shred of daylight between Dick Cheney and Donald Trump. Mike Pompeo’s positions on the Iran Deal and diplomacy with North Korea are a threat to our national security.
