Griffiths ( bgriffiths@politico.com ; @BrentGriffiths) A POLL IN THE VALLEY - A new poll of likely Democratic voters yesterday shook up the 3rd Congressional District race in the Merrimack Valley - giving the first substantive look at how the candidates vying to replace Rep. Niki Tsongas are doing, and showcasing the depth of support for both Sen. Elizabeth Warren AND Gov. Charlie Baker among Democrats. The UMass Lowell and Boston Globe poll found 81 and 80 percent approval ratings for Warren and Baker respectively, an eye-popping level of support for both candidates.
