It’s been over 100 days since Donald Trump ended protection for Dreamers – 800,000 young people who are part of our American family. It’s been over 100 days since funding for community health centers lapsed. It’s been over 100 days since hurricanes ravaged Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico – and Congress still hasn’t provided enough funding for disaster relief. For over 100 days, Republicans have refused to fix any of these issues, and today’s stopgap spending bill just kicks the can further down the road. We don't need new promises. We need new laws and real solutions.

They write, we argue that what changed is capitalism, that modern history has, since the 1400s, unfolded in what is better termed the Capitalocene. Using this name means taking capitalism seriously, understanding it not just as an economic system but as a way of organizing the relations between humans and the rest of nature.
