The former Southern Confederate States endure Republican Governance that has  inflicted on them:  High Levels of Poverty Poor Education & Graduate Performance perpetuating ignorance  Lack of Economic Opportunities  Poor HEALTH CARE & large uninsured populations  Regressive Public Policies & Bigotry that WARN corporate employers and tourists      to shun the area while other states thrive on tourist dollars Poor environmental policies  Poor worker protection GOP Rigged Elections and much else     The Moral Bankruptcy spread throughout these states and rapidly spreading  across the nation now defines the Republican Party. More affluent states are forced to subsidized these regressive states with their tax dollars.
