On Thursday,  we learned he's decided to remove his national security adviser , H.R. McMaster. Any number of Cabinet secretaries are on the chopping block (mostly due to  self-inflicted ethical issues ). What's going on? Why is President Trump firing seemingly everyone? A few dynamics are at play here: 1. Trump is firing people he doesn't like or agree with:  And he's surrounding himself with people he does like or hopes will agree with him. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson got swapped for one of Trump's closest confidantes, CIA Director Mike Pompeo.
