Just an observation.....



Sitting in a doctor's office this week, I picked up a 
Christmas magazine that offered interesting  recipes 
and so on..... 

Instead of informative information, interesting recipes .....

 every other page was an ad for DRUGS!  Pills! 





Since I customarily bring a book or something to do, the surplus magazines aren't perused..... 

 Is this what we've come to as a nation?  






Several years ago, a medical doctor expressed his frustration that patients came to him having determined they had a certain condition or required a certain medical test from having seen it advertised on television.....
Has American Ignorance reached this level?

Net neutrality is dead

Dear Friend, Net neutrality is dead — at least for now, with it the dissenting voices like that of Countercurrents.org, unless we act urgently and collectively. In a 3-2 vote today, the Federal Communications Commission approved a measure to remove the tough net neutrality rules it put in place just two years ago. Those rules prevented internet providers from blocking and throttling traffic and offering paid fast lanes. They also classified internet providers as Title II common carriers in order to give the measure strong legal backing. André Staltz a reputed technology blogger wrote that internet started dying back in 2014. He predicts that what's coming is the consolidation of internet monopolies , namely Google, Facebook and Amazon what he terms as Trinet.
