A lot of our readers took a moment of their time this past month and take time every month to provide the support that makes Reader Supported News possible. We deeply and sincerely appreciate the funding and the confidence you show in this project.
Overall raising enough money on a monthly basis to meet the organization’s basic expenses grows increasingly difficult. May saw an 18% decline in funding from April.
We have to find a way to do better. The big problem is the vast cache of people who come to RSN and will not donate no matter what. They have always been there, but their proportional numbers are off the scale at this point.
We have a few days off without fundraising now.
A moment for reflection.
