Earlier today, the Senate held its first floor vote on the Bank Lobbyist Act – a bill to roll back the rules on some of the biggest banks in the country. The results weren’t pretty: 67 Senators – 50 Republicans, 1 Independent, and 16 Democrats – voted to move forward with the bill for a final vote later this week. If Republicans and some Democrats are going to help the bank lobbyists roll back Wall Street reform, we’re going to make sure the American people know about it.
