The poison at the heart of our democracy

Call the Republican "tax reform” plan whatever you want: a scheme, a scam, a boondoggle.

Here's the truth: in passing the plan, Republicans in Congress have done a disastrous thing.

Working families and the middle class are set to shoulder the burden for massive tax cuts for the 1% and the biggest corporations.

There's a poison at the heart of our democracy. The greed, the corruption, the backbreaking attacks on everyday Americans must stop.

The only cure is a peaceful revolution. We need to take back our country at the ballot box.
