These are dangerous times.

We are living in the age of a lawless administration enabled by a complicit Republican Congress and a state media operation (Fox News) dutifully providing covering fire for it all.

The truth of the matter is frankly this: The only thing standing in the way of two more years of this reality is what we're willing to do about it.

At VoteVets, we have endorsed a number of progressive veterans running this November. Many have cleared their primaries. Some have an election on the horizon. None of them are afraid of a fight.

But they cannot do it alone:


We are never going to outspend the other side -- we don't need to. We have the people and the messengers who can cut through the clutter. But we have to compete. And since the vast majority of the donations we receive come from people like you, that means we have to ask.

Zakim earned 54.8 percent to Galvin's 45.2 percent.
