Reshaping the courts

Blumenthal for Connecticut

President Trump is trying to reshape the federal judiciary around his far-right dogma – and alarmingly, he's succeeding.
As a member of the Judiciary Committee, every month I see unqualified and extreme nominees committed to reversing decades of critically important progress recognizing and protecting reproductive rights, LGBT rights, and more.
We've seen nominees who've spewed hateful rhetoric. Nominees who can't answer basic questions about the law. Nominees rated "not qualified" by the American Bar Association.
They all have one thing in common: an extremist ideology that threatens the rights of individual Americans. And many now have lifetime appointments, where they will rule on issues from women's rights to gerrymandering.
I'm doing everything I can to stop these extreme appointees. We won't win every fight, but we can't afford to get discouraged. We're strongest when we stand united, and that's why I want to hear what's on your mind.

I really appreciate the chance to hear directly from you. Thank you.
Dick
