01 January 18 An Epic Finish to a Horrible Year What could go wrong? In the past 12 months the answer to that question has come in innumerable and ever more disillusioning ways. Nevertheless, like Elizabeth Warren, we persist. As we must. Our final fundraising drive of 2017 looked as dead as a doornail on December 20th. We had no chance of raising what the organization needed. But we did have the Reader Supported News community. With another epic late-month comeback, we managed to replenish the organization’s coffers just enough.
