And they’re worried that squabbling might derail their efforts to roll back financial regulations, expand access to experimental medicines and overhaul the criminal justice system. THE BIG IDEA: When it comes to electoral politics,  this is not normal long ago became the new normal.  The latest transgression by the transgressor in chief just doesn’t seem to move the needle.
